Shane Homes' Senior Vice President of Production and Cost Control is President of the Calgary Home Builders Foundation. Incorporated in 1986, the foundation’s mandate is to provide shelter to children with special needs, low-income families and seniors, the brain injured, troubled youth and the physically and mentally challenged.
The most recent project is the $350,000 renovation of the 7th floor of the YWCA downtown which added 14 beds to the existing Mary Dover House. This renovation increases the capacity from 86 beds to 100 safe spaces.
