Celebrating 45 Years with $4.5 Million Charitable Giveaway.

The Shane Homes Group of Companies is celebrating 45 years in the business of building strong vibrant communities in Calgary and Area with a monumental initiative that will see $4.5 million donated to local charities and nonprofits. This celebratory initiative builds on a history of generosity first established by founder Cal Wenzel in 1979.

Apply for Donations

Awards of $100,000 or more will be granted to organizations championing causes in health or education, and other organizations that benefit the community at large. Applications will be accepted until November 30, 2024. Awards will be granted through the year and finalized by the end of 2024.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be-well established organizations with a history of accomplishment and financial competency.

To apply, please email [email protected] answering the following:

  • Describe the purpose of your organization and how you serve Calgary & the surrounding area (300 words or less, a copy of your professional brochure will suffice).
  • In your own words, describe how you plan to use this donation (250 words or less)
  • Are you a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency?
  • What is your organization most aligned with: 1) health & wellness, 2) education, 3) supporting the community at large, 4) honoring historical contributions, such as the military.
