The commitment of the Cal Wenzel Family Foundation, totaling $1,000,000 to STARS, has opened new doors to saving lives whether by air, ground, or satellite link.

Notably, STARS medical teams are currently trialing the revolutionary STARS Virtual Care program in various locations, including Alberta and three southeastern BC areas (Fernie, Cranbrook, and Golden). This groundbreaking initiative, connects medical teams virtually, significantly enhancing the delivery of critical care.

Additionally, the partnership with SKYTRAC, has equipped STARS helicopters with advanced capabilities for real-time medical data transfer, elevating patient care globally.

This support has also further empowered STARS medical crews with ultrasound training, a significant milestone revolutionizing on-scene patient assessment and triage during critical events. This ensures STARS continues to provide top-tier care, reinforcing the belief that critical care should be accessible anywhere.
