Shane Homes Group of Companies is celebrating 45 years in the business of building strong vibrant communities in Calgary and area with a monumental initiative that will see $4.5 million donated to local charities and nonprofits. Awards of $100,000 or more will be granted to organizations championing causes in health or education, and other organizations that benefit the community at large.

We believe in giving back, and what better way to commemorate this occasion than by supporting organizations that are working to make a difference in the community we’re proud to call home.”

The celebratory initiative builds on a history of generosity first established by founder Cal Wenzel in 1979. By investing in local charities and partnerships—like the Calgary YMCA, the Calgary Minor Soccer Association, and The Cal Wenzel Precision Medical Research Centre— Shane Homes has been an integral part of the Calgary and area community for four and a half decades

To be eligible, applicants must be well-established organizations with a history of accomplishment and financial competency. Applications will be accepted until November 30, 2024. Awards will be granted through the year and finalized by the end of 2024. Please no phone calls.
